Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor who has appeared on a variety of TV shows and films over the course of her professional career. She started out as a model who was successful before moving to acting. Her acting in 1995 when she appeared on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights'. Also, she does voice-acting as well as voice-overs. Harmon took a decision early in 2000 that she would not be performing on television and to concentrate only on film. Her return to acting TV series came about after appearing in only a few movies. She was among the only actresses to discreetly pose nude with magazine 'Allure,' in 2008. The character as Detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT show Rizzoli & Isles. Her role as Detective Jane Rizzoli was highly appreciated and she was awarded numerous prizes. Angie Harmon was nominated over the past few years for her excellent performances, but was not awarded any prizes.
